Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for correctional health in North Carolina. Shift 07:00am-03:30pm. You will conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, develop care plans, administer medications and procedures per orders, and respond to emergencies in a secure correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact license with NC eligibility).
• Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional care.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a secure and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, triage patient needs, and provide interventions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and support LPNs and nursing staff as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, confidential medical records.
• Educate patients on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare practices.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and security protocols in the correctional environment.
