Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a RN Coordinator for Clinical Program Accreditation to lead efforts to attain and maintain clinical program accreditation and to improve clinical outcomes. You will collect and analyze data, identify trends, and develop education to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health care related field required.
  • Three years’ experience in healthcare with data collection and analysis.
  • Current Florida State Registered Nurse License.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
  • Contribute to hospital-wide improvement in core measures, patient safety and service excellence goals.
  • Assess clinical data trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and coordinate performance improvement initiatives and best practices across the continuum of care.
  • Coordinate on-site surveys, mock surveys and consultations.
  • Educate leaders, staff, medical staff, and stakeholders on accreditation process and requirements.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are currently seeking a Coordinator for Clinical Program Accreditation to join our team. As our Coordinator, you will coordinate efforts to achieve and maintain clinical program accreditation and improve clinical outcomes. While also collecting and analyzing clinical data, identifying trends, implementing performance improvement initiatives, and developing educational programs to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Your tasks and responsibilities may include:
  • You will communicate effectively and work with physicians and/or other members of the interdisciplinary team in meeting patient needs.
  • You will actively contribute to and work toward hospital wide improvement in meeting core measures, patient safety and service excellence goals.
  • You will assess clinical data trends and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • You will develop and coordinate the implementation of performance improvement initiatives and identified best practices to address areas of need across the continuum of care.
  • You will coordinate on-site surveys and mock surveys and consultations.
  • You will educate leaders, staff, medical staff, and other stakeholders on accreditation process and requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Related Field required. Master’s Degree or Clinical Nurse Leader Degree preferred
  • Three years’ experience in healthcare field; data collection and analysis experience
  • Current Florida State Registered Nurse License
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills/Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc
