Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with healthcare professionals in treating patients across a range of injuries, illnesses and disabilities. The RN will monitor patients, administer medications, educate patients, keep records, and coordinate with the care team.

Requires RN licensure and BLS certification; preferred BSN and ACLS. Atlantic Health offers extensive benefits and opportunities across Morristown, Summit and surrounding NJ facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
