Job summary

Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Roseburg, OR is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, individualized care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.

The role requires Oregon RN licensure, strong clinical assessment, and the ability to develop and implement care plans. PRN shifts 1–2 per week with 2 weekend shifts per month; PRN employees are not eligible for health insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Oregon.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assessing resident needs and providing appropriate nursing care.
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
• Monitoring resident conditions and responding to changes in health status.
• Administering medications and treatments per physician orders and policies.
• Supervising CNAs, LPNs, and other nursing personnel in care delivery.
• Communicating with residents, families, physicians, and the care team.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Following state/federal regulations and facility policies.
• Advocating for resident comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life.
