Job summary

Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Roseburg, OR is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, individualized care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.

The role requires Oregon RN licensure, strong clinical assessment, and the ability to develop and implement care plans. PRN shifts 1–2 per week with 2 weekend shifts per month; PRN employees are not eligible for health insurance benefits.

Pay Range: $48.00/HR–$49.25/HR
Based on licensed experience

PRN Opportunities Available | 1–2 shifts per week required
Weekend availability required: 2 weekend shifts per month

What You’ll Do

As an RN, you will play a key role in providing safe, compassionate, and individualized care to our residents. Responsibilities include:

• Assessing resident needs and providing appropriate nursing care.

• Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.

• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

• Communicating effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Following all applicable state and federal regulations, facility policies, and standards of nursing practice.

• Advocating for resident comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life.

What We’re Looking For

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.

• Previous nursing experience preferred.

• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) experience preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing assistants, LPNs, and other care team members.

• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

• A genuine passion for caring for others and improving residents’ quality of life.

• Ability and willingness to follow state and federal regulations governing nursing practice.

• Availability to work 1–2 shifts per week and 2 weekend shifts per month is required.

• Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed.
