• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and have a current Registered Nurse license with the state of Connecticut.
• Must be trained in de-escalation techniques, and receive certification within the orientation period of hire.
• Must receive RQI certification within three (3) months of hire and maintain clinical competency during employment within this role.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive assessments and reassessments of the patient’s condition and care needs, including psychosocial, physical, educational, and cultural aspects.
• Assess and reassess pain and educate patient and family regarding pain management; document assessments and interventions.
• Develops and revises individualized treatment plans and evaluates overall plan daily for effectiveness; involve patient and family in goal setting.
