Job summary

IU Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse to deliver and coordinate evidence-based care across the care continuum. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate, while engaging in teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Applicants should hold an ASN with RN licensure in Indiana or via NLC; a BSN is preferred. BLS is required, with additional certifications potentially needed by unit.

Qualifications

• ASN required.
• BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions for >2 years acute care experience subject to review by CNO.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Additional advanced life support certifications may be required by unit or department.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate evidence-based nursing care across assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Advance the patient plan of care and support operational efficiency.
• Adhere to ANA standards and professional ethics.
