Job summary

IU Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide and coordinate evidence-based care across the care continuum in Indiana. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities include decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with ANA standards and the organization’s policies.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduation from nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification; additional advanced life support may be required based on unit.
• Candidates with >2 years acute care experience may be considered if not from an accredited program; subject to review by CNO.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care along the care continuum.
• Coordinate care and participate in decision‑making with the multidisciplinary team.
• Teach, mentor and collaborate to advance the patient plan of care.
• Adhere to ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.

Education
