Job summary

IU Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse who coordinates care across the continuum, from assessment to evaluation, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. The role emphasizes adherence to the ANA standards and the organization’s ethics, requires a valid Indiana RN license (or NLC) and BLS certification, with BSN preferred and ASN required.

On-site nursing excellence is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduated from nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions if >2 years acute care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA required.
• Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate evidence-based patient care across the continuum: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance the patient care plan.
• Engage in teaching, mentoring, and shared decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with ANA standards and the organization’s Code of Ethics.
