Signature HealthCARE Owensboro is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) to join our dedicated caregiving teams across Hermitage, Hillcrest, and Riverside locations. We’re seeking compassionate RNs who deliver quality care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support residents and their families.

Requirements include an active RN license in your state, CPR/BLS preferred, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience, with long-term care exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience, preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role, preferred.
• Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift in accordance with facility policies and regulations, as applicable.
• Monitor and observe residents’ physical and emotional status; notify the attending physician and responsible party of any change in condition.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility policy and procedure.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges according to established procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, staff education, and regulatory surveys as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.
