As an RN, you will deliver direct nursing care, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality documentation while upholding regulatory standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including med administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides as assigned.
• Monitor residents' status and report changes to the physician.
• Develop and review resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure timely clinical documentation per facility policy.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in QA activities and staff education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.
