Spring Dell Center, Inc. in La Plata, MD is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support the Community and Employment Program.

The role offers full-time and part-time options with flexible shifts and a competitive hourly salary of $40.04. You will provide professional nursing care, oversee unlicensed staff, and ensure compliance with Maryland regulations and DDA requirements, while actively participating in planning and care coordination for participants.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a current RN license in Maryland or a Compact State.
• Experience with disabled adults preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and follow through on commitments.
• Ability to utilise agency database structures for data computation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide clinical oversight of unlicensed personnel and delegate tasks per regulations.
• Identify training needs and update skills to meet medical needs of participants.
• Perform initial and regular assessments of participants served.
• Oversee case management and delegation of nursing tasks, including medications.
• Identify medical needs and implement appropriate plans with follow-up.
• Ensure supplies of medication and medical supplies are maintained.
• Attend Person Centered Planning meetings for participants.
• Write, file and share assessments, medical appointments, and nursing notes.
• Comply with DDA and Board of Nursing regulations regarding PMOFs and MARs.
• Counsel individuals regarding health-related issues.
