Lafayette Manor is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our CNA Training Program Instructor. You will educate, mentor, and prepare future Certified Nursing Assistants for success in long-term care while ensuring compliance with state and federal training standards.

In this full-time role, you will deliver classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training, coordinate testing, and update curriculum to support student success.

Qualificações

• Active RN license is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• At least one (1) year of long-term care experience.
• State-approved Train-the-Trainer certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training for CNA students.
• Prepare students for state certification and competency examinations.
• Monitor student progress and provide guidance, coaching, and remediation as needed.
• Maintain accurate attendance, skills checklists, grades, and training records.
• Ensure the Nurse Aide Training Program remains compliant with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate testing registration, program documentation, and regulatory reporting.
• Update curriculum, lesson plans, and training materials to support student success.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to promote excellence in resident care and staff development.

Schedule

Full-Time
Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
