Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN CNA Instructor for Worthington Healthcare Center in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

The role will coordinate/conduct Nurse Aide training classes, develop training materials and manuals, and ensure all required documentation and state-mandated hours are properly tracked across facilities in the region.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the state where the center is located (West Virginia).
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• 1 year of LTC experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing and maintain all required documentation.
• Develop materials, manuals, and teaching aides and maintain resource library.
• Coordinate State-mandated training hours for all CNAs.
• Participate in QI meetings to ensure staff training in identified areas of weakness.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective orientation program.
• Conduct/coordinate skills testing.
