Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN CNA Instructor for Morgantown Healthcare Center in Morgantown, WV. This role will conduct CNA training classes across facilities in the area, developing and delivering materials and overseeing testing and documentation.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license in West Virginia with at least 2 years of nursing experience and a passion for education and staff development within long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the state where the center is located.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing and maintain all required documentation.
• Develop materials, manuals, and teaching aides and maintain resource library.
• Coordinate State-mandated training hours for all CNA's.
• Participate in QI meetings to ensure staff training in identified areas of weakness.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective orientation program.
• Conduct/coordinate skills testing.
