Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program or equivalent.
• RN licensure in Georgia; current, unencumbered license.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required depending on department.
• 1 year of recent nursing experience within the past five years or completion of RN re-entry program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and independent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and evaluate outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with input from patients and families.
• Document care accurately in electronic and physical records.
• Identify learning needs and provide appropriate resources.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and delegate using the Synergy Model.
