Job summary

Allegheny General Hospital's 6A Stepdown Unit in Pittsburgh seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care on a high-acuity unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for ICU stepdown patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC), a Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN preferred), and 3 years of clinical experience with supervisory capabilities. Full-time, 72 hours every two weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent.
• Current PA RN licensure or eNLC multi-state licensure.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience; supervisory experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Oversees data related to quality and satisfaction measures.
• Acts as clinical expert and role model; mentors staff.
• Demonstrates leadership through communication and teamwork.
• Uses nursing process to plan and deliver patient care.
• Ensures appropriate staffing levels and mix to optimize operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
