Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' leadership experience in a medical center or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with physicians and staff.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess acuity to maintain staffing levels for designated shifts and incoming shift.
• Monitor clinical activity via reports, rounds, and admissions activity.
• Lead educational programs for orientation, staff development, and ongoing growth.
• Participate in nursing leadership meetings and committees as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and Michigan Department of Public Health standards.
