La Palma Intercommunity Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an Clinical Nursing Supervisor to support department operations, coordinate staffing, and mentor staff. The role emphasizes leadership in patient care, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance in a nights schedule.

You will collaborate with the unit Director and Manager, ensuring quality care and efficient operations while maintaining adherence to hospital policies and standards.

Formación

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications on hire.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides administrative oversight for the department's service functions.
• Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities.
• Oversees orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration in writing and verbally.
• Oversees staff quality and function during shifts.
• Assists the Department Director in daily operations, directing and evaluating personnel.
• Ensures efficient department operations and directs staffing as needed.
• Performs direct patient care within the scope of practice as needed.
• Continuously assess care and direct staff to adapt the plan of care.
