Job summary

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a House Supervisor RN to manage nursing services on night shifts. The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 30 days, and several years of acute care and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage department service functions on shift and supervise staff across the hospital.
• Monitor delivery of care, oversee service quality and direct patient care activities as needed.
• Directly supervise and communicate with staff house-wide; extend administrative scope as needed.
• Assist with scheduling after-hours procedures and standby call staff.
• Enhance patient and family experience by explaining hospital policies.
