Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Clinical Supervisor on the Weekend shift.

This full-time role offers a 36-hour workweek with a Day Shift schedule, supporting patient care and department operations. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating nursing care, serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients, and assuming managerial duties as delegated.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree or equivalent.
• Licensure: MO RN license or compact licensure.
• Experience: 3–5 years hospital nursing experience.
• Certifications: BLS on hire or within 30 days.

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Shift:Day Shift

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior management experience - experience within change management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs. regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
