Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Supervisor for the Weekend shift at Mercy Hospital South in Saint Louis. The role supports operations and patient care in designated areas, serving as a clinical resource and stepping in as staff nurse as needed.

Managerial duties may be delegated by the manager. Qualifications include an RN license in Missouri or compact licensure, 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience, and BLS certification (or completion within 30 days of hire).

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the listed options.
• Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Shift:Day Shift

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior management experience - experience within change management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs. regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
