Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Supervisor for the Weekend shift at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. The role offers a full-time schedule of 36 hours per week with a day shift.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience, Missouri RN licensure, and BLS certification. BSN is preferred; additional licensure or specialty certification is a plus. This position involves leadership responsibilities and clinical oversight within a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: ADN, Nursing Diploma, or BSN.
• Current Missouri RN license or compact license as per state regulations.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Function as staff nurse as needed and assume managerial duties delegated by leadership.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Supervisor-RN-Weekend

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Shift:Day Shift

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior management experience - experience within change management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs. regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
