Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois with current status.
• Eligible for IDPH Instructor Approval Code.
• Experience in extended care settings is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with students aged 16–19.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors in overseeing students in lab and clinical settings.
• Supervise student learning on campus and during transportation.
• Support execution of the 21 IDPH CNA skills during training.
• Document student progress and maintain records.
• Provide input on student readiness for CNA certification.
• Promote a safe, positive learning environment.
• Participate in faculty/staff meetings and ongoing education.
• Collaborate with office staff to submit required IDPH documentation.
