Job summary

Technology Center of DuPage is seeking qualified Clinical On-Site Supervisors to support medical assisting programs at its DAOES Office. This PRN role requires coordinating student rotations, supervising participants, and ensuring clinical site compliance including fingerprint background checks and TB testing.

Ideal candidates hold a valid IL RN license and can qualify for IDPH approval for clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Must hold an IL RN license.
• Eligible for IDPH approval for clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the student rotations.
• Direct students to appropriate areas and staff members.
• Monitor student participation and professionalism.
• Facilitate communication between students and the clinical site.
• Assist students with their clinical packets.
• Assist with questions regarding procedures or the clinical environment.
• Address concerns that arose during the clinical experience.
• Coordinate with Program coordinator for clinical site scheduling.
• Assignments will be pre-arranged at various outpatient facilities in DuPage County / Cook County with which the Technology Center of DuPage has clinical site agreements.
• Assignments will be pre-arranged at various long-term care facilities in DuPage County with which the Technology Center of DuPage has clinical site agreements.
• Clinical on-site supervisors are required to undergo a fingerprint based background check and provide proof of a negative TB test administered within 90 days of first assignment.
• This is a PRN position. Clinical sessions are 8hrs long. Typically Saturdays / Sundays. (Typical Session Time) 7AM-4PM.
