Job summary

Berkshire Health Systems seeks an RN Clinical Supervisor to lead the clinic's nursing team in an ambulatory setting. You will coordinate, supervise, and mentor clinical staff, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality care aligned with BFS policies.

You will collaborate with the Practice Management team and interprofessional staff to develop care plans, monitor outcomes, and support continuous quality improvement while maintaining patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field or an Associate’s degree in Nursing with BSN enrollment required.
• If enrolled in BSN program, must be completed within 2 academic years.
• RN - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts
• CPR - CPR is required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and is comfortable giving direction, delegating tasks.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with staff, patients and families.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, telephone etiquette as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to independently assess the patient and implement appropriate plan of care.
• Evidence of performance as a professional role model and leader.
• Recognized by peers as an experienced and competent clinician in ambulatory or med/surg nursing practice.
• Demonstrates the ability to utilize critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical staff in an ambulatory setting and coordinate work activities.
• Supervise and mentor staff; monitor schedules and workflows.
• Support quality initiatives and improve clinical effectiveness.
• Lead nursing practice oversight and training of new staff.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to provide patient- and family-centered care.
• Collect and assess data to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Drive clinical decisions using evidence and ensure safety and fiscal accountability.
• Delegate and supervise care per BFS policies and regulations; participate in quality improvement.
