Job summary

Baystate Health in western Massachusetts seeks an experienced RN Clinical Nursing Supervisor to lead our Cardiology team across ambulatory practices. You will mentor nursing staff, partner with physicians and leadership, and drive clinical excellence while sustaining patient-centered care.

This full-time role blends hands-on patient care with leadership duties: scheduling, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and committee work. MA RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• AHA BLS Required.
• 4–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• BSN preferred; ADN Required.
• Ambulatory care leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical and process improvement skills.
• Demonstrated success building engaged clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision for clinical nursing staff.
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on patient care and staff engagement.
• Oversee clinical workflows to promote efficiency, quality and patient satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff for professional growth.
• Partner with physicians and practice leadership to improve operations and outcomes.
• Lead quality improvement and service excellence initiatives.
• Serve on departmental and interdisciplinary committees.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
