Job summary

Aveanna is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to supervise in-home skilled nursing care for patients across our territory. You will review physicians’ orders, update plans of care, and ensure documentation quality and compliance.

This role requires at least 2 years of hands-on RN experience, a valid RN license in the state, CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to patients’ homes. You will mentor nursing staff and coordinate care with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must have an RN license in the state in which the clinician will practice.
• At least 2 years of hands-on RN nursing experience within the last 5 years.
• Must be able to travel to patients’ homes in the designated territory.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass MVR check.
• Current CPR certification from AHA.
• Willingness to supervise nurses providing in-home skilled nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enhance staff clinical expertise to provide safe, quality nursing care.

• Participate in patient releases from facilities to homes through Start of Care Assessments and Re-evaluations.
• Collaborate with operations and business development teams.
• Conduct internal case management and evaluate and develop nursing talent.
• Ensure adherence to State, Federal, Local, and Aveanna policies and procedures.
• Perform quality assurance of clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care with ancillary healthcare providers.
• Supervise nurses providing in-home skilled nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults.
