Job summary

Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Clinical Resource Nurse to mentor clinical staff and coordinate onsite education. You will support department leadership, develop continuing education programs, and help ensure high standards of patient care within the designated clinical office.

The role emphasizes teaching, knowledge sharing, and professional development, with a focus on in-home hospice care, clinical assessment, and collaboration with the Education Department to meet agency

Qualifications

• RN license is required to practice nursing.
• Experience in medical, surgical or critical care settings is preferred.
• In-home hospice care experience is strongly preferred.

Position Profile

The Clinical Resource Nurse provides mentoring and professional development of clinical employees in a designated clinical office/department. Coordinates onsite educational programs and assists in the development of educational programs based on employee/agency needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum one year of recent experience in medical, surgical or critical care as a professional nurse.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and in‑home hospice care experience required
• Solution driven, creative and resourceful problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage time well and perform assigned duties with attention detail, accuracy and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• One‑year adult teaching experience preferred.
• CHPN highly preferred.
