Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Clinical Outcomes Coordinator for the Med/Surg unit to support optimal patient outcomes by coordinating care standards and service delivery.

You will audit line maintenance, enforce infection prevention, conduct daily assessments and patient rounds, and help improve unit cleanliness and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• 2–3 years minimum experience in clinical specialization.
• Proficient in IV access and patient care procedures.
• Experience as Charge Nurse and Preceptor is a plus.
• SC RN license required; BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve clinical outcomes through review of unit quality measures.
• Audit central line CHG compliance; promote infection prevention standards.
• Ensure Foley catheter peri-care per established care standards.
• Complete daily assessments to determine ongoing need for devices.
• Conduct patient rounding to enhance satisfaction, safety, and care quality.
• Assess room cleanliness and organization and follow up on improvements.
• Evaluate patient perceptions of staff responsiveness and address concerns.
• Support a quiet, healing environment by addressing noise and workflow issues.
• Assist manager with staff education, scheduling, and unit staffing as needed.
