Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for the day shift in a full-time role. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in Nursing, a Florida RN license, and BLS certification, with 1+ year of acute care experience preferred. Join our Clinical Ladder program and grow professionally.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (Florida)
• BLS CPR certification required
• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor's preferred
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred
• English fluent in reading, speaking and writing

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications/treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records.
