Job summary

Bridgton Hospital, part of Central Maine Healthcare, is seeking a part-time Clinical Nursing Supervisor to lead a nursing unit in Bridgton, ME. The role involves administrative oversight, patient care as needed, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience; 1 year in supervision preferred.
• CCRN certificate preferred for ICU; NRP required 90 days after hire; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements departmental plans and performance improvement activities.
• Prepares, conducts, and oversees department orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration (written and verbal).
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates personnel; ensures efficient department operations.
• Perform direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the care plan.
