Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Hickory, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our IDD Nursing and Habilitation Services team in delivering person-centered care across the community.

The role focuses on clinical leadership, mentorship of nursing and support staff, and collaboration with families and care teams to achieve optimal client outcomes. Strong RN background and IDD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience
• Minimum of 4 years experience working with the IDD population
• QP credentialing required
• Clinical leadership or healthcare management experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional nursing-supported care
• Apply RN clinical expertise to develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans
• Provide clinical oversight and nursing guidance for Habilitation Services
• Supervise, coach, and support Habilitation Technicians delivering client care in the field
• Facilitate new hire orientation and ongoing nurse-led training and education
• Conduct competency evaluations for team members
• Collaborate with clients, families, Case Managers, Care Coordinators, Nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Partner with care teams to implement and evaluate goals in Person-Centered and Individual Support Plans
• Complete regular RN client visits to assess progress and adjust services
• Monitor client outcomes and adjust nursing strategies
• Maintain ongoing communication with Case Managers and partners
• Provide clinical supervision and nursing leadership per BAYADA policies and state regulations
