Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) in Arizona to lead a busy clinic unit. You will oversee scheduling, staff development, and ensure high-quality patient care across RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

You will liaison with internal and external stakeholders, manage regulatory compliance, and mentor staff while addressing service issues and implementing improvements to care delivery.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the state.
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical nursing experience; neonatal experience preferred for certain units.
• Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or specialized training depending on area of practice.
• Preferred: BSN, management experience, and certifications in specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate departmental functions, manage clinic unit operations, and oversee scheduling of RNs.
• Serve as liaison to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and customer service.
• Develop and implement plans to meet regulatory standards, and train and mentor staff.
• Provide direct patient care, monitor care quality, and supervise care provided by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Manage staffing, assist with orientation, and ensure competency completion of staff.
• Address customer service issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
