Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse to provide high-quality, individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes safety, shared governance, and evidence-based practices in a clinical setting.

The nurse will perform full nursing processes, deliver relationship-based care, coordinate documentation, and participate in performance improvement and mentorship, while upholding policies to optimize care and resource use.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Candidates should have at least 2 years of clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using critical thinking and evidence-based standards.
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, fostering partnership with patients and families through effective communication methods.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting teamwork, interdisciplinary communication, and a respectful clinical environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
• Complete ongoing professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and model professional nursing practice.
• Support evidence-based practice, adhere to organizational policies, and contribute to protocol development to optimize care and resource use.
