Intermountain Health in Park City, Utah, seeks an RN for a Full Time Clinical Expanded Role I. Work Monday–Friday, 0730–1600 at the Grundhofer Clinic with Intermountain Heart Institute.

The role supports special clinical projects and serves as a resource to the RN staff as a knowledge expert to improve patient care. Requirements include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS; 1 year nursing experience; BSN within 3 years of hire; and leadership or mentoring experience.

Qualifikationen

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• ACLS certification current.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in the assigned clinical area and mentoring experience.
• RNs hired or promoted must obtain BSN within three years.

Aufgaben

• Assess physical, social and psychological status and gather information from the inter-disciplinary team.
• Develop individualized plans of care with patient and family involvement.
• Direct and coordinate the interdisciplinary care team to implement the plan.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the plan as needed.
• Promote professionalism, adhere to licensure and documentation standards, and participate in program initiatives.
• Provide clinical expertise and contribute to department policy and protocol development.
