Aufgaben

• Provides work direction to clinical and support staff to coordinate resources for procedures and day‑to‑day operations.
• Performs the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic, and quality care through assessment, care planning, and evaluation.
• Coordinates patient care by promoting communication among patients, families, hospital departments and medical staff.
• Acts as a resource, providing training, direction, and guidance on complex issues in collaboration with unit leadership.
• Assists with human resource duties such as interviewing and addressing employee concerns in collaboration with leadership.
• Monitors staffing levels and productivity, adjusting as needed for the unit.
• Monitors quality of care, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, department standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Contributes to budget input and ensures supplies and equipment are available for safe patient care.
• Works with management to develop new programs and services and coordinates vendor in‑services.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge to provide care appropriate to age groups served and to assess patient data to identify age‑specific needs.
