Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide work direction to clinical and support staff to coordinate resources for efficient procedures and patient flow.
• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Coordinate patient care by promoting communication among patients, families, departments and staff.
• Act as a resource by training staff, giving guidance, and supervising performance with unit leadership.
• Assist with human resource duties including interviewing and addressing employee concerns in collaboration with leadership.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust to maintain unit productivity and quality of care.
