Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 34402 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Med Surg: IU 4 West unit. This full-time role provides a 36-hour work week with 0.9 FTE and includes leadership duties, coordinating resources to ensure safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Related Field; or Associate Degree and enrolled in BSN within 2 years and complete BSN within 5 years.
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in clinical nursing within an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides work direction to clinical and support staff for efficient department operation.
• Supports direct patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic, and quality care.
• Maintains environment conducive to safe, efficient patient care and coordinates patient flow in the unit.
• Acts as a resource, providing training and input on performance; reviews staffing levels to maintain productivity.
• Collaborates with leadership on program development and vendor coordination.
