Job summary

Cherry County Hospital & Clinic is seeking an experienced Lead Clinical Informatics Specialist to guide the informatics team and serve as a key link between clinicians and information technology. The role focuses on improving clinical workflows, EHR optimization, and patient care delivery in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include leading the informatics team, coordinating EHR onboarding and downtime support, and ensuring seamless Meditech operations while providing daily helpdesk support

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensure required.
• Clinical Informatics or healthcare IT experience required.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Meditech experience in a healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Lead Clinical Informatics team under CIO guidance.
• Oversee EHR operations, onboarding, training, go-lives, and downtime support.
• Coordinate system configuration and application integration within Meditech.
• Provide daily helpdesk support and escalate complex issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support.
