Job summary

Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, Missouri, seeks a Clinical Informatics Coordinator (RN) to lead facility informatics initiatives and support the implementation of clinical information systems.

The CIC will coordinate standardization, utilization, integration and optimization activities related to the electronic health record and related technologies, collaborating with the Director of Clinical Informatics and facility peers.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN license active in state and BLS.
• 1–3 years clinical experience in acute care.
• Health informatics certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and ongoing support for clinical informatics projects.
• Coordinate standardization, utilization, integration and optimization activities.
• Support EHR and related technologies, including provider order entry and documentation.

Education

Associate degree in nursing
