Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an RN Clinical Educator for the Wound Ostomy program. Responsibilities include development, coordination, and monitoring of the program; establishing standards of care and competencies; and educating patients, caregivers, and staff on wound, ostomy, and continence care.

Required are California RN licensure, BCLS, WOCN or wound certification, and 1-2 years acute care experience; BSN/MSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license.
• Current BCLS certification.
• WOCN or Wound Certification.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN, MSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years acute care hospital experience in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Development, coordination, and monitoring of the hospital’s Wound/Ostomy Program.
• Establish standards of care and clinical competencies to meet patient needs, staff training.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on wound, ostomy, and continence care.
