Job summary

The State of Oklahoma is seeking an Nursing In-Service Training Coordinator - RN for Lawton Veterans Home. The RN Clinical Educator leads clinical education, orientation, preceptor programs, and competency validation so nursing staff can provide safe, Veteran‑centered long‑term care.

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered RN license licensed in Oklahoma.
Minimum two years of nursing experience; long‑term care preferred.
Experience in clinical education, precepting, or staff development preferred.
Current CPR/BLS certification; instructor cert preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Lead clinical education, orientation, preceptor, and competency‑validation systems.
Develop annual education plans aligned with regulation and quality priorities.
Design evidence‑based education with measurable objectives and checks.
Coordinate nursing orientation with leadership and onboarding plans.
Manage employee health onboarding, including TB screening and vaccinations.
