Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City is seeking an Experienced RN - Nurse Educator for the Women's unit. Under general supervision, you will lead staff development, coordinate orientation, and implement education programs to enhance patient care and safety.

You will plan, evaluate, and document training activities, ensure CPR training meets AHA requirements, support quality improvement, and foster an inclusive, collaborative learning environment for nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current RN license (OK State Board or eNLC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Aligns nursing behaviors with OU Health values and professional standards.
• Plans, implements, evaluates and documents staff development and in-service training.
• Coordinates and facilitates competency development and orientation programs.
• Coordinates CPR training meeting AHA requirements and JCAHO standards.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and assesses care program implementation.
• Develops and maintains age- and culturally appropriate education for staff.
