Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced OR nurse expert to provide education, research, coaching, direct care, and clinical consultation within surgical services.

The role includes leading quality initiatives, collaborating with leadership, and delivering patient care when staffing needs arise. Georgia RN licensure and BCLS are required, with AORN certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• RN license in Georgia or multi-state licensure required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in specialty (AORN) preferred.

• Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, and leadership collaboration.
• Promotes quality and ethical decision making through clinical expertise.
• Provides clinical care as needed when staffing and caseload demands.
