Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in the Atlanta metro area seeks an experienced RN to serve as a clinical expert in surgical services, providing education, research, coaching, direct patient care, and ethical leadership in the operating room.

This role requires an RN license in Georgia, BCLS, and at least two years of OR nursing experience; a specialty certification (AORN) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience.
• RN Georgia licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff.
• Act as a change agent and promote quality through the utilization of clinical expertise.
