Job summary

The Clinical Education Coordinator RN at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home will assess, plan, organize, implement, evaluate and coordinate the center Staff Development Program, while performing clinical tasks and assisting other departments.

S/he will lead training, ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, develop orientation for new staff, manage employee health, and provide hands-on clinical instruction for licensed and unlicensed personnel in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BSN preferred and CPR teaching certificate beneficial.
• Three years nursing experience, with one year in long-term care.
• Instructor experience preferred and CE requirements kept current.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate the Staff Development Program for the center.
• Coordinate and conduct training and orientation for new and current staff.
• Ensure documentation complies with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Monitor and address compliance issues and budget considerations.
