Job summary

J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home in Newberry, SC, seeks a Clinical Education Coordinator RN to coordinate the center's Staff Development Program, assess training needs, and drive ongoing staff education across departments.

You will deliver hands-on clinical orientation, ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of learning principles and training techniques.
• Ability to develop and conduct training programs.
• Ability to assess work performance and needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliant training and education for staff per Conduct policy.
• Maintains training documentation per state, federal, and compliance rules.
• Monitors performance and addresses compliance issues.
• Develops orientation for new, rehired, and contract staff.
• Manages Employee Health program and CPR training.
• Provides hands-on clinical orientation to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Plans state and federally required in-service programs.
• Coordinates nursing staff competency assessments and CNAs training.
