Job summary

Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center seeks an Education Facilitator RN to lead Associate education on the 1st shift in a Full Time role. The educator will support orientation and ongoing clinical education for Emergency Department staff and other clinical teams.

The role requires a BSN or equivalent with advanced certification in nursing and teaching experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS are required upon hire, with instructor certification preferred and required within six months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of ED and/or varied critical care experience; teaching experience preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates orientation for CMA.
• Develops education programs for clinical Associates to orient to clinical policy and procedures.
• Promotes nursing education and advances in nursing through in-services and continuing education.
• Develops clinical programs including assessment of knowledge and competencies.
• Provides training for BLS, ACLS, PALS and other certifications as assigned.
• Serves as a resource for clinical practice and procedures; supports best practice.
