Job summary

Frederick Health Medical Group, LLC seeks a Clinical Educator RN to coordinate and evaluate educational programs for the Frederick Health Medical Group. The role supports mission and adheres to codes of conduct while delivering adult learning-based education across an ambulatory setting.

The position requires an RN license in Maryland (or eligibility), 3–5 years of clinical experience, and 2 years of healthcare education experience.

Qualifications

• Apply adult learning principles in education design, presentation, teaching and evaluation methods.
• Demonstrate interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Apply project management methodologies and quality improvement principles to assigned projects and programs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
• Baccalaureate degree preferred; AAACN certification within 2 years of hire.
• Currently licensed as, or eligible for, a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• Three to five years’ experience in area of practice required; ambulatory setting preferred.
• Two years healthcare education/training preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge across the life span ages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop, monitor, and evaluate educational programs for Frederick Health Medical Group.
• Support mission and comply with the Frederick Health Code of Conduct.
• Maintain knowledge in area of practice and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Apply adult learning principles in design and delivery of education.
• Prepare action plans for tasks deemed unacceptable; document as needed.
